Glaucoma Surgery or Trabeculectomy - an additional drainage is made with or without impant where fluid can flow forming a slight bubble or elevation underneath the upper eyelid, known as a bleb. After the fluid flows into the bleb, the fluid is re-absorbed by vessels, which allow the body to carry the fluid away. The aim of this routine procedure assures lower intraoculer pressure.
