Amsler grid eye test is really important for the detection of diseases of the macula.
Test method:
1. Put your reading glasses if you have any.
2. Place the test of about 30 cm from the eye in a well-lighted room.
5. Cover one of your eyes and look at the black dot in the center of the grid.
6. If you notice distorted, blurred or missing areas while watching the dot in the center, you need to visit your eye doctor because it may be symptoms of macular disorder.
