Biometry

Complete biometrical assessment of the patient’s eye in a single measurement procedure, including lens thickness, anterior chamber depth (lens position) and retinal thickness. The procedure is used to calculate and determine the appropriate patient intraocular lens (IOL) needed for implantation after cataract surgery.

It is used the most precise ophthalmic equipment for calculating IOL - LENSTAR 900. By this eye exam the following information is received:

  1. Central Corneal Thickness (CCT)
  2. Anterior Chamber Depth (ACD)
  3. Lens Thickness (LT)
  4. Axial Length (AL)
  5. Retinal Thickness (RT)
  6. Keratometry
  7. White to White Distance
  8. Pupillometry
  9. Eccentricity of the Visual Axis
