In the beginning you may notice how your vision gradually becomes blurred. Over time you may experience any of the following symptoms:
- Appearance of dark spots or shadows that seem to move when the eye moves;
- An increased sensitivity to glare, especially at night;
- Inability to see well in brightly rooms or outdoors in bright sunlight;
- A gradual loss of color vision;
- Over the years, the vision gradually deteriorates and becomes more difficult for correction with eyeglasses.
Depending on the degree of cataracts development the effect on vision can range from slightly cloudy to complete blindness of the affected eye.
